Chenin Blanc and Merlot, Teperberg Winery
The veteran family winery – five generations of love for the land, and counting – welcomes the holiday in the vibe of shared pours, and togetherness, as it should be.
Teperberg Chenin Blanc Essence 2024 (NIS 79–85) is a dry white wine from Karm Aviezer grapes in the Ella Valley, with a fresh presence, a charming light spring hue, and delicate floral aromas. Alongside it, the Merlot Essence 2020 also stars, a dry red wine (NIS 100–120) aged 18 months in French oak barrels from grapes in the Ella Valley and the upper hills of Ephraim. The result is deep and aromatic, festive and present, exactly as a Seder wine should be poured.
At the same time, the winery presents a collection of holiday gift boxes – for hosts, and mostly for yourself. The Inspire set, for example, includes a fruity white blend, a balanced red blend, as well as an olive oil jug, a wooden serving tray, or Lavi liqueur (NIS 120), and the Impression set combines red and white wines with wine glasses (NIS 106).
