A brand new truck comes to Duluth with the yummy corn dog.
You won’t find many people who get as much joy from corn dogs as Christina Derick.
She and her husband Brandon just launched a new-to-the-Twin Ports food truck: The Corn Dog Company.
She admits she didn’t love corn dogs until she tried these ones. The change of heart can be summed up in two words: “that batter.”
“I don’t know what it is about that batter,” she said. “Then we do use like all beef hot dogs. No nitrates. No preservatives. And not frozen ever. They’re all fresh.”
The Dericks suggest drizzling honey or hot honey on many of the items. Besides corn dogs, they do brats, cheese pops, and deep-fried candy bars.
