Giant cookies have landed at Costco’s food court, replacing a longtime fan-favorite dessert item.

The plus-size Double Chocolate Chunk cookies, about 7-inches across and an inch thick, launched Sunday, Jan. 7 at most Costco stores in the U.S.

At the Tustin Legacy store on Monday, the food court had a plentiful supply of the “all butter” cookies, which sell for $2.49 each.

The cookie, which will cost your waistline 750 calories, includes bittersweet and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Fans of Costco’s food court were quick to point out that the cookies took the place of the popular $1.49 churro.

Reddit users were hot on the cookie trail when it launched. One user called it “thick, extremely dense and loaded with chocolate.”
