The Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center, in partnership with Kappy’s Fine Wine & Spirits of Hyannis and Ruby Wines, invites the community to a special holiday charity drive Nov. 22 featuring Joe Carr, founder of Josh Cellars Wine.
The event will take place at Kappy’s Fine Wine & Spirits in Hyannis, according to a community announcement.
A wine seminar with Carr from noon to 12:30 p.m. kicks off the drive. The seminar costs $15 per person, and seating is limited. Attendees are required to RSVP.
Following the seminar, there will be an in-store wine tasting and exclusive bottle signing with Carr from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Guests can sample Josh Cellars’ signature wines, including sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon.
The charity drive aims to support local veterans in need. Attendees are encouraged to bring toiletry donations for the Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center. Suggested items include toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, hand wipes, shampoo, soap, feminine hygiene products and Ensure protein drinks.
The event is in partnership with Kappy’s Fine Wine & Spirits of Hyannis and Ruby Wines.
