Napa, CA (March 20, 2026) — Mira Winery today announced a strategic restructuring and expansion of its leadership team designed to deepen client relationships, expand national engagement, and strengthen the company’s position in a rapidly evolving fine wine market.
Central to this initiative is the appointment of Dave Wallace as Sommelier and Director of Private Client Experiences. An award-winning, nationally recognized sommelier with more than 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality and beverage programs, Wallace will play a key role in expanding Mira’s client engagement across the country.
In his new role, Wallace will take Mira on the road, hosting intimate tastings and in-person experiences nationwide, including long-anticipated, members-only Society 610 events. These gatherings are designed to create deeper connections with clients and provide greater access to Mira’s wines through unforgettable experiences around the table.
Wallace will also serve as a trusted guide for Mira clients, helping them better understand the sensory, geographic, and stylistic elements that shape the wines they love. Through engaging online programming and immersive Charleston wine experiences, he will help collectors and enthusiasts alike elevate their wine knowledge and refine their palate with confidence.
Alongside Wallace’s arrival, Mira announced an expanded leadership role for Molly Pearson, who has been named Director of Brand and Private Client Sales. Pearson has long served as the voice of Mira, working closely with clients to curate thoughtful wine selections and create memorable, personalized shipments. In her new role, she will continue to guide client relationships while shaping the brand’s voice and customer experience.
The company also announced the promotion of Heather Mathias to President. Mathias brings more than 30 years of business management experience to the role and will lead the company through its next phase of growth, focusing on operational excellence, strategic expansion, and strengthening Mira’s client-focused model.
“These leadership changes reflect Mira’s commitment to building deeper relationships with our clients while adapting to the opportunities of a changing wine landscape,” said Jim “Bear” Dyke, Proprietor. “With Dave’s hospitality expertise, Molly’s deep client relationships, and our continued focus on exceptional wines and experiences, we’re excited about the future of Mira.”
As the fine wine market evolves, Mira’s renewed leadership structure positions the company to deliver more access, more connection, and more meaningful wine experiences for collectors and enthusiasts across the country.
