MENANDS, NY — Private label processor Midland Farms Dairy created a new low-fat milk enriched with DHA Omega-3s.
The company said it also fortified Thr5ve 1.5% Low-Fat Milk with skim powder that provides enhanced flavor and mouthfeel.
Midland Farms packages products for its own Midland Farms brand, as well as Derle, Cherry Valley, Farm Fresh, Trade Fair and Healthy Milk. The dairy manufacturer said it developed the Thr5ve variety to give consumers more choices in the dairy aisle while also delivering the taste and nutrition they expect.
The family-owned company announced its newest product shortly after picking up a silver medal in the best milk category at the 2025 New York State Dairy Products Contest.
The regional private label milk producer credited its “excellent milk supply” from dairy farmers and co-ops, as well as the company’s employees.
