Assistance needed locating Rapides Parish man
RAPIDES PARISH — The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office’s searcg for 84-year-old Pineville man.
Elson M. Deshotel was last seen by a neighbor on Friday, December 17, at approximately 1:00 p.m.
The neighbor returned to check on Deshotel today and discovered him missing at approximately 10:30 a.m.
It is believed that he walked away from his residence, which is located on Robert’s Court in Pineville, near the VA Medical Center.
Deshotel is a white male with gray hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’11” tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and white and black plaid pajama pants. He left behind his vehicle, keys, and cell phone.
Neighbors confirm Deshotel suffers from a severe medical condition that may impair his judgment. He was very frail when he was last seen.
